Access Statement for Cladda Dartmouth

Introduction

We are a self contained self catering holiday accommodation property, on the first floor consisting of a bedroom – living room – fully equipped kitchen and shower room.

We have guaranteed designated on-site (off road) parking for our guests and are a short walk from the waterfront, town centre, restaurants and shops.

WIFI – Available Free to Guests.

DOGS – We accept dogs on request for a small charge.

There is a regular bus service with the stops a few paces away, almost opposite our front door.

The nearest train services to and from Totnes or Paignton (approx 30 minutes) by car, taxi or bus.

Arrival & Car Parking Facilities

Our parking is at the rear of the premises in Ford Valley (which runs parallel with Victoria road) where we have guaranteed on-site (off road) parking with a designated parking space.
there is one step from car park to a well-lit walkway, leading to 10 steps with 1 further step towards front entrance, with a step in to the front door.

We have a front door to no. 88 on Victoria road.

Hall, stairs, landing,

‘Cladda’ has no lifts or escalators, access to all floors is by way of stairs and is therefore unsuitable for wheelchair users.
All stairs are carpeted and well lit with time switches.
All doors are fire doors with self-closers.
Fire procedure details are is provided (back of private door to stairs).

Living room, bedroom

Living room and bedroom are carpeted, bed settee available in living room – bedroom super king double or twin bedded.
All doors are fire doors with self-closers. Guests have door key’s for access at all times.

Fully equipped kitchen off living room with laminate flooring and ceramic wall tiles.

Shower room/wc

Off landing – walk in electric shower(Mira sport) – ceramic tiling.

Grounds and gardens

Small front garden with seating.

approx 500 metres to coronation park (large grassed area) and tennis courts.
